Counting My Many Blessings

Lately I have been thinking about how blessed I have been in my life. How I have been lead and guided to the things I needed to do and the paths I needed to choose. I am so grateful for a Heavenly Father who has a plan. Who knows the best way for us and as we humble ourselves and allow him to take the reigns "How great will be our joy". He will make so much more out of our lives than we would be able to by ourselves without him. I am grateful for a young boy, even Joseph Smith who had a question. Who had the faith of a child to kneel in prayer and ask our Father in Heaven which church is true. I am grateful for a Heavenly Father who appeared to this young boy with his son Jesus Christ to give him the answer he was searching for. Heavenly Father called him by name. He knew young Joseph by his first name, and just as he knew Joseph by his first name I testify and know with out a shadow of a doubt our Father in Heaven knows each of us by name. He knows the desires of our hearts. I have no doubt he cries with us when we cry. He celebrates with us when we celebrate and he wants nothing else than for us to be happy. If we can somehow see the light at the end of the tunnel in our darkest hours HE has prepared a way for us to see the rainbow and sunshine after those dark rainy, stormy days. I have THE strongest testimony of this because one of my greatest challenges in life right now is not being able to start my own family, not being able to be a mother and love a little one, and not being able to provide my dear sweet husband with that opportunity. After each miscarriage, after each fertility treatment that didnt work, and after each adoption that didnt go through at the last minute, right when I thought I couldn't take the pain any longer, my dear sweet savior stepped in and took away the heavy burden. He lifted me up to my feet and carried me until I could walk again. Just as I have my struggles and challenges I know each of you go through those rainy days as well and I just want each of you to know that Heavenly Father is mindful of you. He feels what you are feeling and as you open that door he will be there on the other side of it waiting and willing to help, but the handle is on our side and we must be the ones to let him in. These last few days as I have been contemplating the blessings in my life I just am so humbled and grateful to have been able to meet such a sweet, caring, humble husband. He is the most christ like person I have ever met. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone and he has so much love in his heart. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to be a missionary in Montevideo Uruguay. To have the opportunity to take part in the culture there and learn the spanish language. I am grateful to the people of Uruguay for changing me. Naci en Nuevo Mexico pero naci espiritualmente en uruguay y estoy tan agradecida por la gente de Uruguay y por los ejemplos que han sido. Below are some pictures of when jay proposed to me. For those of you that don't know Jay and I dated for about 2 years and then he left on a mission to Toronto Canada. After he was out for about a year I got my mission call to Uruguay and then He got home six months before me. Two weeks after I got home he proposed in his national championship football game on the fifty yard line in front of thousands of people!! I was sooo embarrassed!!!

We were married in the Salt Lake Temple on May 14, 2004.

We lived in St. George for the summer and then my husband was recruited to play football in the capitol of Mississippi, Jackson. We lived there for a few years while we both went to school. We made so many memories and made so many friends that we miss dearly! We were there during Huricanne Katrina and that was an experience we will never forget!!

The Angels of Nursery

I love my ward here in Arizona. They really are the best. I was so sad when I got release from the Relief Society and was shocked when I got called the be the nursery coordinator. I immediately thought there is no way I can be good at and wasnt too sure about the drastic change. Well let me tell you, I was completely wrong. I LOVE nursery. I still can't get through singing time without crying lol Their sweet voices touch my heart in an unbelievable way as I hear them sing of the savior. I'm pretty sure if the savior were to visit our building he would come to nursery first and I feel so blessed to be amongst such sweet lil angels. A few Sundays ago I got to sub for Cassi in her class and we had so much fun. We made Turkeys for thanksgiving and our lesson was on the Holy Ghost. The kids LOVE to turn he lights off and we are always telling them not to so I got glow in the dark necklaces and gave one to each of them and had one of them turn the lights out and we talked about how the holy ghost is like our glow in the dark necklaces. He gives us light when it is dark and helps us not to be afraid. They were so cute and listened so well. Sometimes I feel inadequate not being a mom myself and I worry about not having the tools and the experience I need so when I received an email from Lisa and Brian Moore I started to cry. They were in nursery that Sunday and their sister in law was there with her twin girls and litle boy and Brian and Lisa sent me an email just letting me know what a great job I did and then sent me the link to their sister in laws blog where she talked about that Sunday in nursery and it seriously made my day. It's amazing how Heavenly Father, in each calling we have gives us the knowledge and keys that we need to succeed. Lana Hollingsworth

I just wanted to say thank you so very much for everyone who helped Jay and I with the Love for Lana benfit. I wanted to let you know we raised over 10,000 for this cause and I was so overwhelmed with how many people offered to jump in and help me. I know Marv and the whole family are so extremely grateful for the countless hours of service and I wouldnt have been able to do any of it without all of your help. For those of you that didn't know about it. Lana a neighbor of mine was attacked by a bear at her mountain home in pinetop, Arizona. She underwent several surgeries to fix the damage that was done. She was in critical but stable condition. I knew Marv would need help with the many hospital expenses so I talked to my boss Dr. Heap to see if we might be able to open up our dental office on Friday and Saturday and do cleanings, exams,xrays, and whitening. And then donate the money paid for these services to Lana. He excitedly agreed and thats where this amazing benefits started. I had so many people wanting to help it expanded out of the dental office to the outside parking lot where the Gilbert fire department was doing a car wash, there was a bake sale, and just lots and lots of different booths. I was amazed at the turnout. Lana's story was a breaking news story on all the news stations and they soon learned of the benefit as well and helped us out so much by letting everyone know in the community about this benefit. I did several news interviews trying to get the word out and again it was incredible the turn out. As I was running around a lil crazy at the benefit making sure everyone had enough water and that everything was running smoothing, I took a turn at the car wash to let the others take a break and as I was washing cars a man drove through and handed me a check for 600 dollars. He wouldnt even let us wash his car. He said he had heard the story on the news and wanted to help out. It is so nice to know there are still christ like people like this man in the world today. I was brought to tears by the generosity of everyone and also ALL of the help I received setting up this even and making it happen. Shortly after our benefit Lana's brain started to hemorrage and shortly after she passed away. She was such a great example to many and dedicated her life to serving others. I will never forget her example and I will strive each day the rest of my life to live a life full of service and love as she did. Well tonight was an absolutely incredible night. I have never watched the birth of a baby and never really was interested in ever watching one but my sister talked me into it tonight and I have to say it was one of the most spiritual...breath taking experiences I have EVER experienced in my life! Everything went soo smoothly and Mama and baby are doing soo well!! Aspynn came out and didn't even cry...she was soo patient and so mellow and sooo adorably sweet right from the get go!! I had a hard time holding back the tears as I witnessed such an amazing miracle take place. I cannot wait for my day and time to come but until then I am absolutely enjoying every moment of each of my neices and nephews!! Thanks Tav for sharing!! You did such a good job and you are such an incredible mom!! Congratulations!!!

This is a funny story....so Brandon called and asked for a pizza to be delivered to the labor and delivery room right before Tavah delivered. He gave the pizza boy the code to get into labor and delivery and also the room number. We thought for sure he would show up with the pizza right in the middle but he showed up right outside the room Tav was in just after the delivery...just in time for us all to chow down!!! Sooo funny!!

Lindy's Baby Shower

Saturday Lisa and Sarah had a baby shower for Lindy and it was soo fun and the food was soo yummy!! It was good to see everyone. It seems like since we moved out of the neighborhood we don't see them as much as we used to so it was the perfect excuse to get together. Happy Birthday Tav!! I know this is late but we have been having computer issues again but we are once again up and running. Tavah and I are the same age for about two weeks and it has been soo fun growing up with my best friend. Growing up we were never alone and we ALWAYS had a friend to play with. She has always been and will always be a dear friend, roomie, and sister. I am so very thankful that Heavenly Father knows me and knew that I would need a partner to lean on, to cry to, to fight with, to talk to, and to be with for the rest of my life. I love you Tavah!!

Ok So sorry about the long period of no updates. We have been having virus issues with our computer but I think we are finally back so I am going to do quite a few post today. Sorry to have to play catch up!!! haha

I had such a good birthday and I just have to say thankyou to all of you who made it soo special. Jay was out of town again (last year he was in Philadelphia). He was in New York with work so I thought I might be able to sneak through this day without getting noticed (haha) but nope there was sushi, sushi, sushi, and more sushi (haha), Tav, Chase and I ate sushi till we thought we were going to bust and then we all went out to eat some more at Wingers and went to a movie. My mom decorated my car and it was sooo funny cuz on the back it said honk if you want to wish me a happy birthday so after all the fun I was driving home by myself and everybody was honking. I was soooo embarrassed but it was soo fun. Oh and during the movie they had gotten a birthday princess badge for me that I HAD to wear and a glow in the dark stick necklace so during the movie I was glowing!!! It was great!! I Love You Guys!!!

So there is a story behind this picture. Dr. Bott has these glasses that he wears and we tease him about them and he always says he wishes one of us had to wear glasses too so he didnt stand out soo much so Val went out and bought all these glasses for us and we decided to all have them on when he got there in the morning. He loved it!!! I absolutely LOVE where I work. We have soo much fun and I just love these girls they are the best. This video is priceless. To this day I still cry when i see it. Chelsea was soo extremely surprised. Me, Marla (her mom), chelsea's two sisters Aubs and Linds, and her friend from California Angie flew out to Pittsburgh and when we got off the plane we rushed to Chelsea and Johns house and waited for Chelsea to come home. John's mom and sister had decorated the house so cute for the baby shower. Chelsea came home from work and John met her at the door and had her close her eyes as we all sat in her livingroom waiting to say surprise!! John you are amazing for setting this whole thing up. Chelsea has been through alot and it makes me so happy to see her sooo happy with you!!

Pittsburgh Trip

A couple of weekends ago I got to go to Pittsburgh to see my bestest friend in the whole world Chelsea and my bestest sister in the whole world Tiah and her husband Justin. What more can you ask for. Oh and how could I forget Mehki. I love him sooo very much. I have been able to watch him grow up and be his Auntie and I miss him so much. When i saw all of them the tears were hard to hold back and I hate that they are all so far away. And John you are the best. You two are perfect for each other. Chels and I have been friends for about 13 or 14 years and through thick and thin, close and far we have remained so close. I love her so much. She is pregnant and she is so far away so her dear sweet husband planned a surprise Baby shower for her and she had no idea it was coming. John has been planning it for months now and he bought my ticket, Angie's, her mom, and two sisters and flew us all out there. I met up with Marla, Aubs, and Linds at the park and ride and we all flew out together and then we met up with Ang in Minnesota for our layover. We laughed and cried and had such a good time. Thank you so very much John and Chelsea and Mehki for the great weekend. I miss you guys already and can't wait to see you again when the baby comes.... Tiah knew I was coming and I was soo excited to see her and Justin. I haven't seen them since they moved out there which has been too long!! The girls and I were able to have a spa day at Tiah's salon pampered us and cut our hair and everything all day. Tiah you are the best and it made our trip to be able to get so much done at your very nice and fancy salon. On Sunday I was able to drive out and go to church with Justin and Tiah and listen to Tiah teach the Young Women. She is sooo good with them. Then they came to Chelsea's house for a BBQ. Our Trip was short and sweet and over way too quickly!! here are a few pictures that I was able to take.

The game was soo much fun on Monday. We all had a good time and it was great to see Jay in action again. I was surprised at how many people came out. We ended up losing but we played Wyoming who was the best team last year so hopefully we can keep getting better and kick their trash next time. So a few years ago my lil brother who is now in chiropractic school in Dallas loved to take his video camera around and video crazy things. So one day he got this great idea to put a scary mask on and scare my lil brother and the video below is the result of it!! It is soooo funny and my poor lil brother is soo scared!! So I am officially private!! I have been trying to figure out to put my profile to public so that if I forgot anyone they can at least see my profile picture and my email and send me an email but I cant figure it out. If any of you know let me know how to do it!! Thanks I also wanted to put it out there real quick! Ive gotten a lot of congratulations about being pregnant and I didn't want to make anybody feel dumb or feel bad so I'm just going to make it public I miscarried last week. The first few days were really painful and really hard emotionally for me. After trying for 4 years and finally acepting the idea of possibly adopting I couldnt figure out why Heavenly Father would tease us like that but I have come to realize that everything happens for a reason. There was a reason for it and I may not know why now but I will know eventually and all I can do now is have faith and move forward. I just am soo very thankful for the little piece of being pregnant I was able to feel. It is such an incredible miraculous experience. Every sickness I felt and every tired moment I had and every ache that I felt in my body I was soo overwhelmed with excitement about what was happening inside. Even when I had my ultrasound when I thought I might be loosing the baby it was soo amazing what we were able to see. I am soo grateful for that experience and the hope and faith that we have now that I can get pregnant. Miracles continue to happen everyday. My mom showed me this song that I have playing on my playlist on my blog and it put a smile on my face and gave me hope for the future. I wanted to post this after I went private for those of you who have been praying for us and have called and expressed your concern and love. The first few days I found it hard to talk about and hard to return your phone calls and thoughts of concern but I want you all to know that Jay and I both felt each of your prayers and were lifted up by your phone calls and treats and love. Thank You so very much we truly do have the best friends and family.

Secret Special Santa

Ok.....Where do I even start!!! Whoever did this you know who you are and I just want to tell you thank you thank you thank you from the very bottom of my heart. This time of year is such a special time of year and just for some background so yall know what I am talking about. Many of you know that this past year has been a very difficult year for Jay and I. It has been a difficult but very humbling one. And it seems when we are humbled that is when we stretch and grow the most. We have grown together as a couple, we have grown closer to our families and we have grown closer to our true friends. You know who you are. You have been here for us through thick and thin, you have cried with us as we watched our building burn down, you have cried with us as we have gone through our struggles of trying to get pregnant, and you have laughed with us through the funny good times and we just really really appreciate all of you. It seems as though the fire was just the beginning and through the months stones have continued to come in our path and Satan has continued to try to get us down. I am happy to say though that our faith in a dear sweet father in heaven has become stronger than it has ever been. He has lifted the load when it seemed to be unbearable. My testimony is stronger than it has ever been before and I testify to every single one of you that God lives. He is real. I am surprised that my knees are still there because I have spent countless hours on my knees and my prayers have been answered over and over again. My fears have been taken away and have been replaced with faith. In church a speaker said that many times Heavenly Father answers our prayers through someone else and I cannot tell you the countless many times my prayers have been answered by angels...my neighbors, my true sweet friends, and my dear family. I am sad but happy to say we have finally rented out our place. It will be hard to move out and at times it seems like we have lost everything but in reality we have gained sooo much this year. We have gained soo much that we never could have gained any other way and it is truly a blessing to have rented our place. The other night there was a ring at our door and when we answered it this is what we found.

We still do not know who the Secret special Santa was but you know who you are. It sounds like such a silly thing but apart from my scriptures and pictures one of the things I miss the most from the fire is my kitchen aid. I used it sooo much. Its one of those things that you use alot and you dont realize how much you use it until it is gone but in this package we found a kitchen aid. Again I to this day do not know who it is from but all I can say is Thank You. You do not even know how special you are and at that very moment more than even the gift was knowing that someone was thinking about us and supporting us.

So a few nights later again our doorbell rang and again we found gifts on our porch. This time I knew who it was because of the things that were given only they would know. But again from the bottom of my heart I thank you. It was an answer to my prayers not necessarily the gifts themselves but the thought that somebody cared enough about us and supported us and wanted to let us know.

This Christmas we didnt do presents because financially things are tight but it has been the most amazing special christmas ever. We have been able to focus more on the true meaning of christmas, the birth of Christ. The power of the atonement is real. It is such a blessing to have the gift and blessing of the gospel in our lives. Heavenly Father knows each of us individually. He knows us by name and wants nothing else then to watch us and help us find that eternal joy. I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas this year and I thank you all for making ours soo very special...

So I have all of a sudden gotten sooo bad at keeping up on my blog!! I think it is because when we had our fire I lost my camera in the fire and we haven't gotten a new one and so I havent been taking hardly any pictures and I think it is always fun to post pics too along with a narrative!! Anyways....excuses excuses I know but my sweet sweet sister-in-law got married a couple of weeks ago and many of you know that my mom is an amazing cake decorator so Ash asked my mom to do her wedding cake and I have always wanted to learn how she does it so she taught me how and Ash's cake was my very first wedding cake and it turned out soooo cute!! It was soo much work and soo tedious but it turned out beautiful and I was soo proud of it!! LOL Thank You mom for being so patient with me and thank you Trevor for the awesome pictures. We went to Idaho for the wedding and reception and I was able to see one of my very good friends that I haven't seen forever and her cute lil family!! Tragic Fire Experience

On Wednesday the 13th of August 2008 at around 430 I was sitting in my apartment in Conshohocken, PA and all of a sudden our fire alarm started going off in our apartment. I thought oh great are they doing a drill. The last thing I wanted to do was leave my apartment and participate in a fire drill so I continued what I was doing in my apartment. A few minutes later I heard a very loud explosion coming from outside and so I got up and looked out our frontroom window. I was horrified and panicked by what I saw. On each side of our window I saw flames coming from a construction site behind our building that had started our building on fire. Being inside our building I wasnt sure how much time I had and how much of our building was already on fire. The first thing that crossed my mind was to grab our friend's laptop and camera that was in our apartment so they wouldnt kill me if anything happened to our place!! LOL and I also grabbed our laptop and my purse. As I was walking out of our building I felt sick inside knowing that this was probably going to be bad. Well long story made short the fire was a level 8 fire. There were 10 different cities of firemen who traveled to help and alot of them said they had never seen anything like it and were surprised at how quickly everything burned. Our building burned completely along with everything inside. Jay and I lost everything we took out with us to Pennsylvania. It has been a very humbling experience for both us. Alot of our friends who lived in our building for them that was their home. We feel very grateful and lucky to have a home in Utah to come home to but at the same time we are very saddened for our friends and the memories they lost. We are grateful that we both got out alive and we are thankful for what we do still have but it has been a very hard experience. I took some pictures from my phone of the fire when I got out of the building. They arent the greatest quality but alot of you have asked to see pictures so here they are.

This week has been probably one of the hardest and humbling weeks for me. I am just so thankful for the knowledge that I have of the gospel and the role the savior plays in the gospel and our lives. It is so comforting to know during those times of rain and thunderstorms that we all have at different times in our lives that someone is there to help lift the load and carry us forward. We are never alone. It brings peace to my soul to know that after the storms the sunshine will always come out!! I think sometimes we get so caught up in the world and life that we forget who we are and what we stand for. In these times of rain I feel we are humbled so that we are more teachable and therefore we can be molded into what He would have us be. I am so thankful for a loving and supportive family who loves me and who I love so dearly!! I am so spoiled to have THE best husband in the whole world. I dont know what I did to deserve him but he is THE most kind, gentle, unselfish, unjudging (I dunno know if thats even a word LOL) person I know. Life is so much easier when we remember the reason we are here and each of our callings in life.

Phillies Vs. Angels

Well since Jay and I have been here we havent really had time to visit any of the sites or experience Philadelphia so we decided yesterday to go to a phillies game and then go down to Market Street. It was pretty hot and humid but the game was fun!! We went with a few of our friends and we had such a good time. After the game we went to Market Street and ate at an Itialian Restaurant that was really really good. When we were finished we found out that our friend Mike's car had been broken into. It is sooo crazy here!!! His car was parked on the busiest street with people walking up and down the sidewalks because there is lots of shopping along that street right in front of the court house and he still was broken into!!! People around here just dont care about anybody but themselves!!! It is soo amazing the crime, breakins, ect that go on around here. In their very own newspaper Philly renamed itself as Killadelphia!! So the game and eating was lots of fun and just to be downtown but we felt sooo bad for Mike they took his GPS and Ipod!!

Philly My New Home

I took this picture of my new home from the airplane. I have officially arrived to my new home Philly....So far so good here although my first days of my new job have been rather life changing to say the least. We are out here doing summer sales and my first day out knocking I almost got arrested for not being licensed in the county. I am licensed in PA but no the county since we go from county to county and we had no idea that you had to be licensed in the county also. So the cop basically said you have two choices you can either come with me in my car or you can call someone to come pick you up. So needless to say I called my manager to come save me. What a jerk though seriously cops suck...(sorry to any of you who might have that lovely profession) so I got dropped off in a new area and after about knocking for an hour in that area a guy came up behind me out of nowhere and pulled a gun on me and after that I was done for the day!!! And for about 2 days after that. I wasnt sure if I was going to continuing knocking. I thought I might just let Jay do it and I would find another job but I decided to quit being a woose and I went back out. So its been kind of crazy but Jay and I are having a good time here and enjoying many wonderful experiences together.

Well things have been pretty crazy and I know its about time for an update.....

I have to start out with this first post just letting yall know that I have THE best husband, best friend, Teddy Bear ever...It was our anniversary this month and this month was 4 great and fabulous years. Ya know when I used to picture how marriage was going to be before I was married I pictured it to be pretty awesome but it is so much better than I ever imagined it to be. I heard someone mention to a girl that I work with who is engaged that marriage is hard and he offered her good luck!!! Ha ha nice huh? As he was leaving the office I had to open my big mouth (LOL) and let him know that it is just like anything in life. It is hard ONLY if YOU make it hard. I am so greatful for a husband who makes it easy to love him. He is so gentle, patient, and kind with me I just know we were meant to be and I can't imagine life without him. I can't wait to grow old with him.

I Love Easter......we had soo much fun this year!!! I am so glad my sister has KIDS and that she is willing to share them because it makes holidays like easter so much more fun with the kids!!! Easter morning my brother - in - law was with us and so I woke Jay and Him up early and had them search our house for eggs!!! Im such a dork but I thought it would be more fun than just giving them an easter basket.....Im not sure how excited about it they were!! lol i Think they would have probably rather stayed in bed but I had fun watching my hubby in his robe with bed head!!! lol I helped my mom hide eggs for the grandkids and they were sooo spoiled. She honestly hid hundreds of eggs I swear and so the grandkids were in heaven!!! They could hardly stand the wait before.... They all got sooo much candy!!!!

So I think the funniest thing about being back in Utah is the church basketball here!!! I cannot believe it!! I love to watch my husband play in these games because they are sooo intense and soo funny all at the same time!! Anyways our team won the stake division and so they went on to region and they had a game last night but they lost thanks to John and Justin!! Thats a whole other story but while the wives were sitting there waiting for the game to start Joel asked where our cameras were...he said all you girls are bloggers and you dont have your cameras out ready to take pics so you can blog about it??? Well many of you have reminded me that I havent updated my blog yet with pictures of our New York trip....Ive been a slacker but here it goes....I will post a few tonight and then hopefully do some more tomorrow!!! Our trip was sooo much fun...we did just about everything and anything and we loved doing it all with our travel buddies the Wildes!!!! We love you guys it definately wouldnt have been the same without you!!! We planned to go to the Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban concert at Madison Square Garden at 7:30pm the night we got there. We were suppose to fly in at 4 but our worst nightmare came true and our flight was delayed because of bad weather and we almost missed the concert. We got there seconds before it was suppose to start!!Talk about perfect timing. Thanks to crazy cab drivers!!! The concert was a blast and started out the trip just right!! Carrie Underwood was great..we have a love hate relationship!! I love her because she is amazing and I hate her because she has it all...good looks, voice, ect. At first I wished she was singing the whole time but Keith Urban blew her out of the water!! He was such a great performer and wow he is sooo talented!! The next day was Valentines Day and we had to be up at 5:30 to go stand in line for Conan O'Brien tickets at the NBC studios. Thanks to Sarah Wilde's mom we all had matching t-shirts that were bright pink and in a heart it had Conan's pic that said Conan will you be my Valentine!! Our early morning rise and our cute t-shirts got us tickets and it was cool to see how the show was filmed... Crazy pic of Jay and I We went to the area where the world trade center was on the subway. We became very familiar with the Subway system thanks to our tour guide Justin!!! He always led the way!! LOL Seeing where the twin towers were and going through the memorial was a very emotional experience. It was overwhelming to relive what happened that day and the many many lives that were lost. It was amazing to be there and see first hand the damage and the impact it had on so many people!!! We of course had to go to Serendipity!!! The guys weren't too sure if the three hour wait was worth it but Sarah and I just HAD to have the frozen hot chocolate!! It was fun and the frozen hot chocolate filled us up!! It was delicious A VERY COLD DAY AT CENTRAL PARK The Broadway shows were sooo amazing!! We went and saw Phantom and Grease and they both were so good! It was fun to see Natalie Hill in Grease and to see the Danny and Sandra D. that won the reality show that was on TV awhile back!! They did a great job! Of course I had to go find Heath Ledger's apartment where he died. We were on our way to Chinatown to go shopping and he lived in Soho which is very close to Chinatown. EMPIRE STATE BUILDING Well there are some pics and that doesnt cover even half of the trip but for now that will have to do. As you can see we didnt spend much time in our hotel room but when we were there we had fun relaxing and being crazy!! Well I gotta go for now my brother and sister in law just had their first baby one minute ago!!! We are soo excited for them!! We love you Josh and Britt!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!

So I have to admit that I am a HUGE American Idol fan. I dont watch hardly any TV but when it comes time for American Idol I am addicted BAD. So Ive been watching it and I am sooo in love with Brooke White and David Archuleta!!! They are soooo good!!! They are definately my favorites and no its not because they are LDS or even that he is from Utah. They just have awesome voices!!! I just love how they blow people away each time they sing!! i am so thankful for president Gordon B Hinckley and the life he lead. What a great man. The passing away of this prophet has touched me more than other prophets i think because of the important things i have gone through since he has been called including his signature on my mission call and being able to meet him in the mtc. What a great man, example, and follower of christ. it brings me happiness to think of the great reunions in heaven that have taken place since his passing. He will be missed greatly here on earth.

UTAH JAZZ GAME

LOL Anyways we went to the Jazz game and we got to sit on the second row....I am not a HUGE Jazz fan but it was fun to get dinner upstairs before and then treats during halftime and to just spend time with Chels...

Sundance Film Festival

Jay had to work security all weekend long during the Sundance Film Festival at different private partys. It was great to hear his stories of interacting with different celebs and to hear how retarded they are!!! LOL The one I laughed the most at was Paris Hilton. He was doing a private party and Paris rolled up with some of her friends in an SUV and one of the security guys didnt recognize her so he asked ok who are you girls so I can make sure you are on the list and Paris said I'm F--in P Hilton!!! And then he felt dumb so he asked "how are you ladies doing tonight?" and she said F--in sexual!!!! Jay said she had a serious case of bedhead and showed up to the party in jeans and a t-shirt. Lets just say if he would have had a camera with him we could have made some serious money...between Paris making out with different guys all night and Mary Kate snorting coke of the table we would have made millions!!! So since Jay was gone all night every night that weekend doing security my best friend Chelsea and I decided to go up to Park City and try to get into the 50 cent party.....because of some different connections we had we were able to get in and it was alot of fun. We watched 50 cent sing right next to the jazz players and then Paris was there with Niki Hilton, Mischa Barton and just a ton of other celebs....After that we got picked up and escorted around to different other parties (Thanks to Phil LOL) and went to a few other parties where Michael Jordan attended, some UFC fighters and a bunch of other people getting drunk and high that I didn't recognize!!! LOL That one night was definately enough for me and not the best enviornment but it was sort of fun to mingle with the stars... Jay and I went with my in-laws up to Robin and Dave's cabin in Macall, Idaho and had soup and then we went sledding all day!!! It was soo much fun!! By the end of the day I barely made it to midnight and then I crashed!!! So ok I know I am way behind but I am finally updating yall on Christmas and sharing some christmas pics. Christmas was so much fun this year. It was Jay and I's first christmas in our very own place and also our first christmas tree. When we lived in mississippi we would almost take the whole month of December off and go to Utah and visit family so we never worried about buying a tree. This year it was soo much fun being able to get a tree (thanks to Carrian) and to be able to decorate it.

After all the talking and coaxing I finally did it!!!!! We have a blog!!! LOL I don't know how fun it will be without babies to post pics of but we will give it a whirl!!!
